SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Shipping Department Supervisor, the Shipping Technician will perform various duties to finished and/or unfinished inbound and/or outbound materials or product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate forklift
- Weigh product
- Package product
- Label product
- Data entry – outbound finished goods, inbound finished/unfinished goods
- Stage product
- Verify paperwork accuracy/load accuracy
- Loads/unloads trucks
- Maintain integrity of inventory
- Perform Cycle counts
- Communication with outside vendors
- Follow all safety regulations
- Maintain required quantity and quality levels

Education and/or Experience
Requires a high school diploma or GED. No previous experience required. Related manufacturing or progressively responsible related experience is preferred. The position requires additional in-house training on special areas as appropriate.
Language Skills
Requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as shipping documents, work instructions, employee handbook, and safety regulations.
Mathematical Skills
Requires ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic math to include addition, multiplication and division.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Qualifications
Requires ability to operate and/or use various equipment to include the Company computer system. Must also demonstrate the ability to work within a team environment.
